After graduating with a degree in political science from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, Mr. Taus went to Washington D.C. where he worked for a lobbying firm. Mr. Taus then took that valuable experience and continued his education obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree in 1998 from the University of The Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, with the distinguished Order of The Barrister’s Award for excellence in oral and written advocacy. Mr. Taus has spent the last twenty years dedicated to the goal of helping his clients’ businesses flourish. His experience ranges from working with small start-ups to multi-million-dollar companies and those on the verge of public offerings. Mr. Taus has worked with business in a wide variety of industries including: high tech companies, manufacturers, money factors and real estate developers. His experience has taught him that understanding both the legal elements and the practical day to day challenges of a business in its industry must go hand in hand. In addition to working with businesses, Mr. Taus donates his time to several philanthropic works. He sits on the Board of multiple non-profit organizations, and gives pro bono assistance to families of special needs children helping them maximize their potential.
